My Background

I came to College Coach after spending more than six years in the Dartmouth College Office of Admissions, where I worked both on campus in Hanover and later as a regional admissions officer based in Los Angeles. I reviewed applications and contributed to admissions decisions from applicants in territories including California, the East Coast, Mexico, and Central America. Additionally, I led Dartmouth’s national partnerships with college access organizations and oversaw the QuestBridge process, supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Earlier in my career, I supported students through AmeriCorps with a college access program and later taught secondary school English in the Peace Corps. I have also held project management and strategic leadership roles at nonprofits in New York City.

I used College Coach for both of my children's college applications. Both of them were accepted by an Ivy League school. Quite happy with the turnout.

Why I Joined College Coach

I joined College Coach because I love helping students find their footing during a time that can feel exciting, uncertain, and full of possibility. As one of the first in my family to go to college, I remember how many questions I had along the way, and I care deeply about making this process feel clear and manageable for today’s students. Some of my favorite moments come from talking with students about what excites them, helping them understand their options, and watching their confidence grow as things start to click. I appreciate the chance to offer steady and informed support during such an important milestone for students and their families.

Some of my favorite pastimes

Travel (especially in Latin America), learning how to cook, going to comedy shows and concerts in New York City, fitness classes, and spending time with my dog, Bongo.
