At Bright Horizons College Coach®, we care deeply about educational access and continuously work to drive this mission forward in our local communities.
Our team is honored to collaborate with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Essex, Hudson, & Union Counties, New Jersey; and ZUMIX in East Boston, Massachusetts in the creation of our BH Scholars Program. As part of this program, our educators have assisted dozens of high school students with the admissions and college finance process by providing:
Many members of the BH Scholars Class of 2023 are currently attending four-year universities, including ASU, Montclair State, St. Peter's, and Rutgers. Several others are enrolled in community college with plans to transfer to four-year institutions. In all, the class of 2023 received nearly than $150,000 in scholarships for the 2023/24 academic year, and 50 percent of our BH Scholars’ financial award letters did not include loans!
In addition to our work with BH Scholars, our team members frequently assist their communities through volunteer work with organizations and events such as:
We have long-standing relationships with several organizations who sponsor events to provide our services at no cost to local families. Sponsor organizations have included the American Museum of Natural History, BioBus, and the Studio Institute.
We are also honored to support Gold Star families who are awarded educational scholarships for our services through The Folded Flag Foundation and other organizations which support veterans and their families.
