My Background

I bring more than 20 years of financial aid experience supporting students and families through a wide range of college financing challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked in multiple areas of financial aid administration, including financial aid counseling, satisfactory academic progress reviews, professional judgment evaluations, athletics aid administration, and student loan counseling. At the University of Central Florida, I worked closely with students to help them understand financial aid policies, maintain eligibility, and navigate funding options throughout their academic careers. I also supported students facing unique financial circumstances by evaluating special circumstances and assisting with individualized financial aid solutions. Most recently, at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, I worked with medical students to develop comprehensive financial strategies focused on loan repayment, debt management, credit awareness, and long-term financial wellness. Through these experiences, I have helped students make informed financial decisions and better understand the resources available to support their educational goals.

Why I Joined College Coach

As a first-generation college student and the first person in my family to earn a graduate degree, I understand firsthand how complex and overwhelming the college financing process can be. Navigating higher education without a roadmap often meant figuring things out along the way, and I know how valuable guidance and support can be during that journey. After taking time away from school before returning to pursue my graduate degree, I experienced the challenges adult learners often face when balancing educational goals with personal and professional responsibilities. The encouragement and support I received along the way played a significant role in my success. I joined College Coach because I am passionate about helping students navigate the educational journey with confidence. Whether they are attending college for the first time, returning to school after a break, or pursuing an advanced degree, I want to provide the guidance, knowledge, and reassurance they need to make informed decisions and achieve their academic and career goals. By helping students overcome obstacles and understand their options, I hope to empower them to reach their full potential and create opportunities for future success.
