My Background

Parisa Salavitabar brings her passion for student advocacy and her experience in financial services into every conversation with College Coach families. She helps families navigate the many resources and processes that go into saving and paying for college. Before joining College Coach, Parisa served as Associate Director of Financial Aid for the Wharton MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Office at the University of Pennsylvania, where she counseled full-time and Executive MBA students and managed Wharton fellowship funding. She began her career at Vanguard, managing a portfolio of over 500 high-net-worth clients as a Series 7 and 63 licensed broker. She transitioned into higher education in 2016, supporting undergraduate and graduate students as a financial aid counselor and later as Senior Financial Aid Coordinator at Temple University. She has led financial literacy and FAFSA workshops for college and high-school students in the Philadelphia area. Parisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Public Policy from Temple University.
