My Background

I started in financial aid when I was a student myself and never left! I was a work study student in the Enrollment Center at my undergraduate college where I discussed Admissions, Records and Financial Aid with students daily. I continued my journey after graduating when I started as the Student Financial Aid Customer Service Representative at the University of North Alabama. After this I moved to The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where I started as a Senior Financial Aid Counselor, and eventually became Assistant Director of Financial Aid at the GWU Law School, where I spent the last several years working with graduate students specifically, before joining the team here at College Coach.

Why I Joined College Coach

As someone who had to navigate financial aid completely blind going into college, I have spent my career trying my best to help others make these decisions with all the information I could give them. College Coach allows me to help families make the best decision for the students and their families with all the right information and not have to navigate it blindly like I did. I love being able to talk to families and help them understand the process and options available to them!
