My Background

My admissions career started at Harvey Mudd College (HMC) where I recruited and read applications from students applying from southern California and the Southwest. In addition to making admissions decisions, I also coordinated social media for the Office of Undergraduate Admission, overseeing a team of students who created content highlighting HMC’s unique blend of STEM and the liberal arts.

Most recently, I worked for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), evaluating first year applicants interested in a range of STEM majors from engineering and computer science as well as interdisciplinary majors like computational biology. I’ve also reviewed applications for the highly selective Summer Science Program, a rigorous residential summer research experience, and for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarships.

Why I Joined College Coach

One of my most rewarding roles as an admissions officer was conducting applicant interviews. I loved these conversations, as they gave me the chance to learn about each student’s interests, aspirations, and unique story. Meeting families during campus visits was equally fulfilling; I found great joy in helping prospective students feel informed and confident about the journey ahead. That desire to work more closely with students and families ultimately led me to College Coach. Today, my favorite part of the job is demystifying the admissions process and empowering students to recognize and showcase their strengths. I look forward to guiding families through this exciting, and sometimes overwhelming, experience in a way that feels clear and empowering.
