My Background

I come to College Coach with over a decade of experience in college admissions; I have evaluated applications from students across the United States and around the world for three distinct universities.

I began my career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where I reviewed applications into all majors, including the popular STEM majors of engineering and computer science, oversaw the transfer admissions process, coordinated counselor tours, and collaborated with student interns to deliver specialized programming. Four years later, I returned to the admissions office of my alma mater, Bryant University, to join the senior leadership team. There, I made admissions decisions, led strategic planning initiatives involving partnerships both on and off campus, and led multicultural recruitment efforts. Most recently, I worked as an Associate Director of Admission at Boston College where I made admissions decisions for all four academic divisions: Arts and Sciences, Business, Nursing, and Education.

I have also been an active member of a range of professional associations, including NACAC and IACAC where I have taken on leadership roles, presented on various admissions topics, and continued to build upon my knowledge base.
Very happy with the whole experience. [My child] was accepted ED1 to UChicago and I feel the advice he received through this company was what helped make his application more polished and reflective of him.

Why I Joined College Coach

Joining College Coach is a return to my “why” and the heart of this work: empowering students to feel seen, confident, and supported throughout what can be a complex process. While I loved guiding prospective applicants as an admission officer, the more that my portfolio grew, the fewer opportunities I had to connect with students on a personal level, and I knew I needed to find my way back.

In my work at College Coach, building individualized relationships with students and families brings me the most joy. I am especially energized by the chance to work closely with students as they navigate a journey of self-discovery and reflection to figure out what is next after high school.

I aim to be holistic in my approach to helping students showcase their best selves through their college applications.
