Yes, College Coach is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Our podcast, Getting In: A College Coach Conversation, is a member of the NACAC Podcast Network which is a selection of NACAC-approved college admissions podcasts. Our college finance team holds many memberships, as well, including the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) and several regional branches of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).
How does College Coach stay current on today’s admissions practices?
In addition to their backgrounds as decision makers at highly selective colleges and universities, our experts stay current on what’s going on in the world of admissions in a number of ways. Our team attends and has presented at annual industry conferences including the NACAC and International Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC) conferences and SXSW EDU. Additionally, our team members are encouraged to take advantage of various professional development initiatives throughout each year including attending campus tours.
Does College Coach give back to the community?
Yes! We proudly partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and ZUMIX to create the BH Scholars Program which assists high school students with the admissions process.
